a gallery of recent film work

Shooting 35mm film alongside digital changes the way I photograph. With only a limited number of frames every photograph counts; making film a more intentional process, which forces me to slow things down. This relaxed energy will often show in the photographs. 

The grain, light leaks and little imperfections all feel human in a world of computer generated slop. Although the way I edit digital photos is heavily influenced by film tones, film still has a more honest, timeless quality that will outlast any editing style.
